Okey, I am looking around right now, I am looking for something durable, economical, light weight, car mount bike rack. Any recommendation for me?
I do not wish to be spending over $100, the less is better of course. Thanks.
I have a Trek 800 mountain bike hybrid. Just a recreational bike which I only use to ride around a Lake on pavement.

I have a 2006 Honda Civic Hybrid, my family has had it for a few years and we've never run the speakers very loud, but the car became mine back in April when I got my license. I like to run my music loud with the windows rolled down in the summer, but I don't necessarily prefer pumping up the bass, I keep the treble/bass knob centered. When I was driving home, I turned my music down for a moment, and realized the sound was uneven, louder coming out of the speakers on the left side of the car. I played with the fader a little bit, and faded only the right speakers, and I heard only very quiet treble. What happened? There was no static or loud pop or anything, so I don't think I blew out my car speakers, but I really don't know. Is there any way I can fix this without replacing the stereo? If not, what can I tell my parents (they don't like me blasting loud music but I do it anyway....)?

Just bought a Camry Hybrid. It's not that I need a jump but just wondering IF I were to drain the battery completely somehow and needed a jump how does that work exactly?

If the car is parked for several months at a time (say due to a long trip) is it ok to leave the battery "plugged in"?

Pickup Truck (or a car with lots of room in the back with seats that fold)
(If its a truck): Ability to attatch a contractor cap over the bed.
Any ideas? Any car with lots of room in the back thats a hybrid.

In 1960, my grandmother's washing machine cleaned better than today's eco-friendly piece of shyt washing machines that use 2 ounces of water and leave your clothes covered with bacteria.

I've made a lot of MISTAKES, I took my dad's NEW Tahoe hybrid for a drive because he took my car away from me, I drove it to the mall to go shopping and when I came out of the mall there was a dent pretty big dent.
To make things worse, he's the sergeant of our local police force and I am already grounded because I also had a party while my parents were gone and my dad said Jay (also a police officer) and family friend would come and check on me I didn't believe my dad but sure enough he did come and I was drunk it was bad. He hates me and it makes me cry, I don't understand why he's being so hurtful.

I don't want to give out to much of the novel but: It is in the future, about 80 years, 20 years before the main event humanity was surprised how far technology had got (not lazers and flying cars, think very powerful computers and stuff like that), but the main events get dark, the machines got to strong, and due to some malfunctions (this is not anything like terminator, trust me) they have started making human-machine hybrids (called "abominations", still not terminator, bare with me), these look fairly low tech and disturbing (picture pieces of a human face stitched together yet missing some pieces and pulled over something that looked like a car engine), and now the last remaining humans in this world where oxygen is diminishing are trying to stop the main machine called the "infernal puppet master" (this thing is gonna be ridiculously disturbing and symbolic).
The setting will be a hopeless world where the sun is covered every day, most cities have now devolved into a almost old victorian towns or mutated into odd, almost steampunk worlds.
The weapons used by humans will look old and odd (one I will mention is something that's essentially a small 18th century gatling gun that can be held like a rifle)
and it will use a lot of symbolism involving morality, the debate of religions, and borrow lots from dante's vision of hell from the divine comedy

My dad is buying a new car in the near future and asked me what i thought he should get. He's narrowed it down to the Maserati Quattroporte and the Lexus LS hybrid. He'd probably want comfort over speed though.
So which one would you recommend? Both are 2010 and are the exact same price.
I would like to hear from people who know what they're talking about. Also please note that he doesn't care about being flashy so don't pick one over the other just because the name.

My dad wants to get a brand new S-Class, the 2011 version when it comes out. When does come out by the way? Anyways, he has the money to buy a S65 but he also likes to save the environment. He wants a Mercedes-Benz for sure and he came across the S400 Hybrid. He read and watched a lot of reviews on it(the 2010 version) and they all said it wasn't as nice as S550, and it is a bit sluggish. Reviewers said it feels really slow.
Here is the thing, we live in Michigan where there is 6 months of winter. It usually snows 2-3 times a week. Some people say if the driver is careful, a rear-wheel drive(S400 Hybrid) can handle the snow and some say it's dangerous. I know 3 people who totaled their rear-wheel drive in the snow, but they were all teenagers. If he gets a S550, it will be a 4MATIC. Also will people think that my dad couldn't afford a S550 if he gets the S400?
Also part of the reason he wants a S-Class is because well #1 it's the top selling and most popular luxury car in the world but also because it's used as state/president cars in Asia and Europe. Which one do they usually use? S550 or S600?
Is getting the S400 worth it? Would you get a S400 or S550 if you could afford it, even though S400 is more environment friendly? But S550 is environment friendly too right? I heard S550 uses recycled material and burns fuel cleaner than Toyota Prius, which is good for the environment.

A friend of mine has a son who is turning 16 soon. She wants to buy him a car that is very safe. I suggested the 2010 or 2011 E300 4MATIC. It has a lot of great safety features like 11 airbags, lane-keep assist,advanced breaking system, pre safe feature that determines when you are about to have a accident and tries to avoid it,there is the feature that determines when you are drowsy and alerts you...I have a fully loaded 2010 S400 Hybrid and that car helped me avoid a accident big time. Plus it has so many safety features. She is really rich, so she doesn't care about the cost of the car or insurance.
I might be wrong though,and she is a good friend so I don't want to give her bad advice...so what do you all think would be the safest car for her son?
